The objective of the game Kitchen Mahjong is to collect pairs of cubes that represent the same kitchen equipment on a 120-cube playing field. These include mixers, axes, whisks, and cutting boards. The time, the level number, and the number of clues are written at the top of the screen. The number of tiles in each field and the overall score are written at the bottom.

The collecting of identical bricks in sets of two pieces is known as kitchen mahjong. Both tiles vanish when you click on the same tile while it is adjacent to it (either vertically or horizontally from the first tile). On the field, empty space is generated, and the game awards you points. As more open space gradually fills the screen, it can be connected to a tile that is diagonal to it if it is adjacent to it on at least one side.
